Changes at the Vaughan Dojo

Important Announcement: Changes at the Vaughan Dojo

Dear Vaughan Dojo Students,

As we approach the new year, we want to share an important update about the future of the Vaughan Dojo.

After much reflection, Senpai Mici and I have made the heartfelt decision to step away from teaching classes in Vaughan. This decision was not made lightly, but after four years of commuting long distances and managing late hours, the time has come for us to make a necessary transition.

We understand the significance of this change, and it comes with a heavy heart. However, our commitment to the Vaughan Dojo and its students remains strong. To ensure the dojo continues to thrive, Senpai Oleg, alongside Senpai Dany and Senpai Roxy, will take over the leadership of the dojo.

With this transition, the Vaughan Dojo will merge into Geminos Dojo. The present location and schedule of classes will stay unchanged.

All three of these black belt instructors are deeply rooted in the CKMA family, having trained and taught with us for many years. Their dedication and love for Kyokushin are undeniable, and we are confident their leadership will inspire and motivate you on your martial arts journey.

We encourage you to fully support the dojo under this new leadership and to continue your growth in Kyokushin. Your progress, dedication, and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we hope to see you remain an active part of this strong and vibrant dojo community.

While we will no longer teach regularly in Vaughan, you are always welcome to visit and train with us in Barrie or Mississauga anytime. We also plan to visit the Vaughan Dojo occasionally to stay connected.

We are immensely grateful for your support and dedication over the years. You have all enriched our lives and created countless memories that we will forever cherish. As we move forward, we encourage you to apply the lessons we’ve shared and continue to honor the spirit of Kyokushin.

Details about the merging process will be shared with you soon. In the meantime, please know how much we appreciate your understanding, loyalty, and friendship.

With love and gratitude,

Shihan Steve, Senpai Mici, Robert, and Alexa
